The Museum is located in a charming historic building from the 1600s, completely restored, situated between Bologna and Pistoia, surrounded by greenery. This structure, in addition to a rich permanent collection, offers a series of cultural events and exhibitions that will be organized inside the Museum, but also in other venues.

Each visit will be a real surprise, also because it is personalized. In fact, Morena, together with Ernesto, will accompany you inside this forest of symbols, all to be discovered… and for this reason, remember that a reservation is required.

The originality of this work lies in being the first center, in Italy and in the world, to deal with the Art of Tarot at a contemporary level since 2007. We aim to offer visitors the chance to see unique collections of entire Tarot decks, in their original form, created by Italian and foreign artists who work using a wide variety of techniques, from collage to sculpture, from painting to graphics, from video to performance, and even music. Furthermore, inside the Museum it will be possible to follow an interactive path related to the evolutionary scheme of the Arcana.

The International Tarot Museum wants to open up an opportunity to all artists who have worked on this theme and bring to light what so often risks remaining hidden and being forgotten. What is concealed exists and lives on with undiminished fervor, and the Tarot Museum takes on the responsibility of giving visibility to the symbol that dwells within the Arcana, so that everyone can admire their splendor in the context of the new millennium.

Thanks to the collaboration with the publishing house Mutus Liber, collections of Artist's Tarot cards are published in limited editions, signed in original by the artist, embellished with hand-made interventions.
