Carl Larsson (Stockholm, May 28, 1853 – Gemini) is a poet of elfin drawing. A magician who gives voice to the line that lives inside the heart. A watercolor stroke that, with water, moves the color until it becomes magic. A magic that binds. It unites the tree to its roots. He, his woman, and his seven children. One for each planet of the ancient sky. All described by his skillful hand, with the background of his house in Sundborn. It is a comic for adults who are a bit like children, who in the stories of a gentle face glimpse among the hair the myth of a never dormant pagan epic. He loved to call his drawings 'little pieces of paper', believing that they would later become jewels. He died in his House of the Sun on January 22, 1919.
