I thought about this Tarot deck for a long time because I wanted to pay tribute to Ingmar Bergman, an author I discovered when I was just a teenager, and who opened up for me a vision, almost like a stage set, of an inner world I had never seen, but always felt. Every scene in his films has always represented for me a unique work, almost a fresco that, together with other scenes, created a universe. I loved his works very much, but I chose only a few, those most connected to my life...

I have long thought about this Tarot deck because I wanted to pay tribute to Igmar Bergman, a cinematographer who I knew, since I was just a teenager, and who opened in me a new vision, almost theatrical, of inner worlds never before seen, but always perceived. For me, every scene of his films has been a unique art work, like a fresco that when combined with other scenes created a universe. I embraced his entire body of work, but I have chosen only a few films… those most connected to my life.
