Tarocchi Allegorici (Allegorical Tarot) is
a historically significant deck dedicated to the frescos of Bolognese
artist, Bartolomeo Cesi. The iconography of Cesi influenced later Tarot
imagery. For this reason, and because the Museo dei Tarocchi calls the
county of Bologna its home, the publishing branch of the Tarot Museum
has created this small production of striking B&W etchings. The
cards are printed on softly textured, cream-colored matte cardstock
which adds to the elegance of this special collection of artworks.
