The iconology of the plates does not follow tradition, representing in each arcana characters linked to the biblical world or ancient Rome. There are various levels of interpretation; moreover, many painted scenes have been brought closer to the Renaissance cultural world, steeped in hermetic, more specifically alchemical, culture.
In the attached book this cultural influence is undeniable and it is in this direction that the authors turn their gaze, interpreting the alchemical symbols, without forgetting tradition. For this reason, it represents one of the most complete texts in the field.
